Federal court says Adventist student at Catholic university has the right to skip school on Sabbath

In Brazil, a federal court ruled in favor of an Adventist student who was having Sabbath problems at a Catholic university.

The court says the student has the right to skip classes from Friday evening to Saturday evening.

Quielze Miranda, 19, hasn't been able to attend one of her college classes since the beginning of the school year because it is scheduled on Friday nights.
