Did NBC copy Southern Adventist University's logo and colors?

NBC's Community used a logo and color scheme very similar to that of Southern Adventist University to represent the show's county museum.

Community is a television comedy series about a group of students attending a fictional community college called Greendale. On the other hand, Collegedale, TN is home to Southern Adventist University.

The logo is found in the show's Oct. 14 episode, "Basic Rocket Science."

Well I will have to say that in the event this was a tv comedy show of a fictional college, copying color scheme and logo design this close could be classified as using copyrighted imaging without permission. I'm not a law expert but they didn't redesign their logo enough to be much different from that of Southern's.
